An undercover operation in Sheboygan led police to two burglary suspects, after police say the thieves posted the stolen items on Craigslist.

Police arrested and charged 18-year-old Brionn Stokes and 17-year-old Jaquan Wright after they showed up with a stolen laptop to an undercover sting, according to a criminal complaint.

"It's going to be hard to get any sense of security back," said the woman whose home was burglarized. She is still scared and asked that her identity be concealed.

The burglary happened September 16 in Sheboygan. The homeowner came home from a trip to the store and started noticing things were missing.

"We have very dark wood floors and I saw white footprints going down my hallway and could tell immediately that they were not mine or my husband's," she said.

She says the thieves took about $3,700 worth of electronics, including her laptop. The next morning, she checked Craigslist.

"The first thing that showed up was my brand new laptop that I had bought two weeks ago," said the homeowner.

She called Sheboygan Police, who set up an undercover operation at the YMCA.

According to the criminal complaint, Stokes and Wright were taken into custody after they showed up with the stolen laptop.

Stokes also was wanted on a homicide warrant out of Milwaukee.

Police served a search warrant on the suspect's home and recovered many of the items stolen in the burglary. Police also found counterfeit money and a firearm, according to the complaint.

The complaint also states that police visually matched a shoe print lifted from the victim's home to the suspect's shoe.

The homeowner says she is installing a new security system in her home.

"It's very difficult to feel safe in your home and then have people come in, you feel so violated," she said. "I still feel unsafe. I don't know if that feeling will ever go away."
