WAUWATOSA -- One of the suspects who forced a woman out of her car outside a Speedway gas station last month has been taken into custody.

The victim doesn't want to be identified, but agreed to tell her story if we concealed her face. Her frightening night was January 19th.

She tells us she thought they were going to do something to her and she panicked.

The victim was in her Volkswagen Jetta and stopped at the Speedway where she regularly fills up. She went inside for a few items.

"I got into the car to put the soda on the floor," she said.

That's when another car pulled up behind her and a passenger made his move.

"He got out of the car and hit on my trunk," she said.

Then the man opened her door and got in her backseat.

"And I turned around and I'm like 'oh my God', I panicked, you know, I panicked," she said.

But she was strong enough on the outside to tell him to get out, and she wasn't quiet about it.

"I was asking him to leave me alone. I am on my way to work. I need to get back to work," she said.

The suspect got out briefly and the woman tried to lock her doors, but they wouldn't lock.

"When he went back to the car he came back with his hand up under his hoodie. So I don't know at that point what he had and I wasn't gonna try to find out what he had," she said.

Milwaukee police ended up recovering her vehicle two days later on the north side. All windows had been tinted. Police say that's a hint the car may have been used for drug activity.
