A man who was badly beaten at Summerfest last year is speaking up about the attack, and warning fest goers to be cautious at the event one year later.

It has been a year since Cameron Brunn was beaten at Summerfest.  He was on life support, after the attack. The 29-year-old hardly remembers waking up from his coma.

"I had traumatic brain injuries and they had to do a little surgery and my skull, I have a little indent and I'm still trying to grow it back," Brunn said.

Police said Brunn and his brother got into an argument with several people on Summerfest grounds last July.  His brother said they were attacked from behind. Cameron can't recall much about that night.

"I remember some guys asking for money, keys, phone and wallet," Brunn said.

Brunn suffers from memory loss.  His mom said he has permanent brain injuries.

"You ruined someone's life," said Joan Brunn.

The 29-year-old now struggles with bipolar disorder, depression, anxiety and OCD.

"He's not the same Cameron from before the attack,” Joan said.

His mom wonders how those who hurt her son haven't come forward.

"How can you go out, have a good time, beat someone up until they're almost left to die and go home and sleep without a conscience?" Joan said.

The 29-year-old has questions of his own.

"Why did they have to go to the extreme levels of beating me up and putting me in the hospital?" Cameron said.

The family wants concert goers to be aware of what happened to them.

"You don't expect anything cause you're at Summerfest so there's obviously cameras, security, yah know, cops," Cameron said.

"Summerfest has always been fun, but be careful. Just be aware of your surroundings," Joan said.

Police said no arrests have been made, but it is an ongoing investigation. If you have any information contact police.
