MILWAUKEE -- Buy local. That is the message coming from small businesses in Southeast Wisconsin.
The nationwide effort aims to get you to buy from small businesses where you live.
Daphne Malone, owner of Glorious Malone's Fine Sausage tells TODAY'S TMJ4's Julia Fello her family business began in her parent's kitchen in Milwaukee.
More than 60 years later, it's now sold nationwide and online.
Malone says she uses small business week for networking to find ways to expand.
"It gives you the opportunity to have people to mentor to cheer you on, to give you the push that also provides sources for you to be able to grow," said Daphne Malone, Glorious Malone's Fine Sausage owner.
