The body of a 22-year-old man who officials said went under the water in Pewaukee Lake was recovered Monday morning.
The Waukesha County Sheriff's Department said that a 22-year-old man disappeared while swimming in the water near Lakeview and Woodland in Pewaukee just before 5 p.m. on Sunday
The Waukesha County Sheriff's Department said the man, identified as Austin Timple, was swimming near a boat with friends when he began to have issues and called out for help. He went under the water and was not found.
His body was found in the northeast area of the lake. Timple was pronounced dead on the scene.
No other details were released.
