MILWAUKEE -- A veteran Milwaukee Police officer faces allegations of disorderly conduct, domestic abuse assessments against his ex.

42-year-old Edmund Estacio has 17 years of service with the MPD.

Court records show a pattern of stalking, including calling his ex, up to 72 times in a row. The victim also told police he would text her up to 300 times if she does not respond to him.

The victim called 911 May 19, claiming Estacio was at her Brown Deer apartment and banging on her bedroom window.

Estacio was taken into custody the next day, telling police, "Do me a favor and not[sic] tell her to get a restraining order."

This is something Brown Deer Police Officer Brad Caddock tells us he would never suggest to a victim.

"In incidents such as this we oftentimes will encourage somebody to get a restraining order," said Brown Deer Police Officer Brad Caddock.

Because of Estacio's position they immediately notified his supervisors with the Milwaukee Police of his arrest. Estacio is now on paid suspension.
