Hope.

That's why Sandi Lybert said her family shares their struggle with their son's heroin addiction.

He's seven years clean now, but Tyler Lybert said he started drinking and smoking marijuana in high school. By the end, he was addicted to heroin.

Monday, Sandi, Tyler and their family shared their story with dozens of people joining in a heroin summit put on by the Greenfield Police Department, Whitnall School District, Greenfield School District and Greendale School District.

Law enforcement, addiction specialists and many other resources participated to spread information about addiction and the growing issue of heroin in Southeast Wisconsin.
