HUSTISFORD, WIS. — The Dodge County Sheriff's Office is investigating a single vehicle accident that occurred near County Highway E and State Highway 60 on Saturday.

According to the sheriff's office, the driver was heading south on County Highway E around 11:13 a.m. in the Township of Hustisford when they left the roadway, drove through several ditches, over a driveway, across state Highway 60, through a fence, and into a storage container.

When deputies arrived, the driver was unresponsive. They performed life saving measures but were unsuccessful.

The sheriff's office said witness observations cause them to believe the driver had a medical episode during the crash. The driver was the only person in the vehicle, and no other vehicles were involved.

The Dodge County Sheriff's Office is investigating the crash, and it is unknown at this time if the driver died from their injuries or another medical problem.

The name of the driver will not be released until 24 hours after the crash, pending family notification.
