MILWAUKEE -- A Milwaukee man is facing multiple charges after he allegedly led police on a intoxicated freeway chase that ended in a fiery crash off Locust Ave.
The 30-year-old man faces charges including 1st degree recklessly endangering safety, eluding an officer, hit and run involving injury, and OWI.
Video from police shows the man taking an exit for Locust Ave. off of I-43 southbound. Shortly after taking the exit, the man crashes and his vehicle starts on fire.
Officers were able to catch him after he hopped out of the car and into a nearby resident's yard.
The driver suffered minor injuries in the crash. Nobody else was hurt.
