Armed man report prompts lock out at three Waukesha schools

Waukesha schools were put on lock out around 3 p.m. Wednesday after a report of a man with a gun. 

Someone reported a man with a gun near Summit Avenue and Greenmeadow Drive. 

Waukesha North High School, Lowell Elementary and Summit View Elementary were on a lock out until 4 p.m., Waukesha police said in a news release. 

Officers didn’t find anyone with a gun and the lock out was lifted.
