Looks like this season of The Bachelorette has a front-runner.

Jordan Rodgers, the younger brother of Aaron Rodgers, had a lot of screen time on the 12th season premiere.

He was not only the first of 26 suitors to step out of the limo, but he scored the first real kiss with JoJo Fletcher and received the first impression rose.

Each season, a select few contestants are introduced to viewers in videos from their hometowns. In his, he was shown on the high school football field in his hometown of Chico, California. He even mentioned his famous brother and the Green Bay Packers.

"It wasn't an easy path (to the NFL). You know, I was the little brother of Aaron Rodgers, who went on to become the quarterback of the Green Bay Packers. So there was an expectation because of who my brother was."

Jordan said it was rough because he didn't get recruited out of high school. Ultimately though, he ended up playing for three NFL teams.

In his first conversation with JoJo, he told her his parents met and were engaged in a matter of months.

"So a little encouragement, my parents met and were engaged after a few months and have now been married for 36 years. So as crazy as this journey is going to be, just know it can happen," he said.

Recently retired, he told JoJo he now works in media and sports broadcasting.

"I'm in a place now where I'm ready to make love a priority," he said. "I want to share my life with somebody. I want a wife, I want a family, I want a best friend."

JoJo appears to be smitten.

"Being with Jordan I feel relaxed. He's confident and sexy and our conversation is flowing...it feels so good to be sitting with him."

In the episode, JoJo told Jordan she gave him the first impression rose because she felt most comfortable with him.

"I'm really excited about you and I feel really comfortable with you," Fletcher said.

However, the full-season trailer at the end of the episode foreshadowed some drama surrounding the former pro quarterback.

"Jordan, Aaron Rodger's brother, drives me crazy," one contestant said. "He's strutting around and has his swagger going on, it's all this slick smooth operator stuff, it's not real."

Other suitors even compared him to his older brother.

"The best thing about Jordan is his brother, the worst thing about Jordan, he's not his brother," another said.
