One woman is dead after an overnight shooting on Milwaukee's northwest side.
Milwaukee Police responded to a shooting near Fond du Lac Avenue and Grantosa Drive around 9:50 p.m. on Tuesday night. Officers arrived to find a 50-year-old man with a serious gunshot wound and a 26-year-old woman with multiple gunshot wounds.
The 26-year-old woman later died at the scene, despite life-saving measures by the Milwaukee Fire Department.
Police say events leading up the shooting are still unclear.
