This afternoon temperatures soared into the mid to upper 50s under mostly sunny sky. Heading into the workweek, the sunshine will stick around but temperatures will be cooler. Expect mostly clear skies tonight with low temperatures in the upper 20s and lower 30s. Monday will be cooler but a dry day for us with highs mainly in the lower 40s. It will also be a bit breezy at times with a NE wind at 10-20 mph. A mixture of sunshine and clouds can be expected for Tuesday and Wednesday with highs in the upper 30s and lower 40s. Dry conditons will persist into Thursday with highs in the low to mid 40s.
Finally, we start to see a break in the dry pattern on Friday into the weekend. Friday will start off mostly sunny with highs near 45° in the afternoon but rain will move in late and continue into Saturday. Throughout the day Saturday, a mix of rain and snow will be possible. On next Sunday we’ll be watching for another system to head into SE Wisconsin; right now rain looks to be the main precipitation type with this system.
