A Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been issued for parts of southeast Wisconsin until midnight.

Just like that summer is here! Sunday was barely 60, today is a record breaking 93 in Milwaukee. The record was 90 from 1944. In addition, the humidity went way up today putting the heat index near 100...in the shade.

This evening remains dry for your outside activities, but the line of storms that is now in the Twin Cities will get here after 11pm. The main threats from these storms are damaging winds and large hail. The severe risk should be done by 2am, but rain showers will continue until about 7am. Then we clear out on Wednesday with highs in the lower 80s and much drier air behind the front.

Thursday is sunny and warm with highs in the lower 80s and dry air once again, and we will see a few showers develop after sunset and linger into Friday morning. Friday's high is near 80, but then the wind shifts to the NE for the weekend and we cool down. Saturday is sunny and 68 in Milwaukee and 76 inland. Sunday is sunny and cool with highs in the 60s and just an isolated shower in the afternoon.
