A Milwaukee youth volleyball coach faces charges of second degree sexual assault of a child (under 16 years of age). The alleged victim is a 14-year-old girl who he coached on his club volleyball team, the "Milwaukee Sting."

According to the criminal complaint, 24-year-old Benjamin Chastain inappropriately touched the teen girl and repeatedly messaged her on Snapchat. The Snapchat messages were sexual in nature and outlined plans to hang out.

Chastain also bought lingerie for the teenager and dropped it off to her at school, along with fast food.

When Chastain was dropping off the food, he grabbed the girl's butt before she exited his vehicle. The girl told investigators she, "knew what was happening wasn't right," and said it was "weird" when Chastain allegedly grabbed her inappropriately.

The complaint also states that Chastain and the victim had pet names for each other like “big mac” and “little fry.”

Chastain admitted to hugging the girl and communicating with her on Snapchat. The complaint does not go into any more details about Chastain's admission.

Chastain made his initial appearance in court in this case on May 9. Probable cause was found for further proceedings in this case.

A preliminary hearing is set for May 19, and a $1,000 signature bond was set.

Chastain has been ordered to have no contact with the victim in this case.
