It's now been a week since Jayme Closs went missing in Barron County, Wisconsin.

Deputies said someone kicked in her family's front door and shot both her parents on October 15, but what happened to the 13-year-old girl is still a mystery.

"We believe she is still in danger," said Barron County Sheriff Chris Fitzgerald.

They think Closs was in the home at the time of the murders.

Investigators are now looking for two vehicles they say were seen on surveillance video near the home. One is a 2008-2014 red or orange Dodge Challenger. The other is either a black 2006-2010 Ford Edge or a black 2004-2010 Acura MDX.

The sheriff wants to hear from anyone who saw those vehicles in Barron County in the last two weeks.

"They're asked to call our tip line with the time it was observed, location and license plate number, if available," said Fitzgerald.

He is also asking for volunteers Tuesday at 9 a.m to meet near Highway 25 at the Hungry Hollow Grounds in Barron.

"We are asking for about 2,000 volunteers to walk specific areas in or around the crime scene to help with our investigation," he said. "We are looking for anything that may be of evidentiary value may be related to the incident."

People in the community have continued to come together since the Closs murders and Jayme Closs' disappearance. A gathering of hope at her middle school Monday night brought out dozens of people to support each other and to try to find Jayme.

"It's been very hard because with a death, there's finality, but there is no finality right now," said Kim Frandsen who lives in Barron. "Everybody's just wondering what-ifs and what where can she be and how do we move forward?"
