The work of more than 40 designers - many from our area - were featured on the catwalk at the Milwaukee Theatre
A group of fashionistas within the Milwaukee fashion and event-planning industries brought Fashion Week to Milwaukee this weekend, and it was all to benefit a good cause.
Milwaukee Fashion Week featured work from over 40 designers - including seasoned and student designers from the area, along with a few from Chicago and Madison.
All of the proceeds will benefit Pathfinders - a local homeless shelter for kids and young adults - that offers housing, education support and counseling to empower youth in crisis.
At the shelter, homeless kids will soon have access to a new clothing “pantry” store. It's in the process of being built. Donations from Milwaukee Fashion Week are helping to fund the project.
