The fiery crash in Racine County on I-94 that left one person is reportedly connected to a homicide in Illinois.

The NBC affiliate in Rockford WREX reports a 24-year-old woman was found dead Friday. Authorities ruled the death a homicide.

The Winnebago County Sheriff confirmed the car in the crash is connected to the death.
