Wed, Oct. 14 -- Deadline to register to vote (by mail or online)
Thurs., Oct. 29 -- Deadline to request an absentee ballot by mail
Fri., Oct. 30 -- Deadline to register to vote (at clerk's office)
Sun., Nov. 1 -- Last day for in-person absentee voting
Tues., Nov. 3 -- Election Day

Register to Vote

Wed., Oct. 14: Voter Registration Deadline (by mail or online)
Register to vote or check your registration status. You may also register to vote at the polls on Election Day.

Absentee/Mail-In Voting

Tues., Oct. 20 -- First day clerks may offer in-person absentee voting

Tues., Oct. 27 -- Practical deadline to return absentee ballots by mail

Thurs., Oct. 29 -- Legal deadline for most voters to request absentee ballot by mail

Sun., Nov. 1 -- Last day clerks may offer in-person absentee voting

Tues., Nov. 3 -- Absentee ballots must be dropped off by 8 p.m.

1. Request an absentee ballot.

2. Receive your ballot in the mail.

3. Fill your ballot out. You can mail it back or deliver it in-person to a municipal dropbox or clerk's office

Early In-Person Voting

Early voting varies by municipality. Check with your county elections office for specifics.

In-person Voting

Polls are open from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 3. If you are in line by 8 p.m., you will be allowed to vote.
