Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers will play in the BMW Charity Pro-Am event this week, despite saying he would cut back on his golf game this offseason in order to further focus on his fitness.

Rodgers will play on the Web.com Tour, which is a developmental league for the PGA Tour.

Rodgers also played in the 2017 Pebble Beach Pro-Am on the PGA Tour back in February.

This week, he will partner with professional John Mallinger, who has spent time on the PGA Tour. Mallinger, 37, tied for 22nd at the 2010 U.S. Open.

Rodgers and Mallinger tee off Thursday at 8:20 a.m.

Former MLB star Chipper Jones will also play in the tournament.
