Another big-name basketball star was in town this weekend, sharing the lessons he's learned through his career on and off the court.

Ervin "Magic" Johnson conducted a free seminar called "From Basketball To Big Business" at Christian Faith Fellowship Church on Good Hope Road.
Magic Johnson is currently the president of operations for the L.A. Lakers and is one of the owners of the L.A. Dodgers, the WNBA’s L.A. Sparks and Major League Soccer's L.A. Football Club.

Johnson says it's exciting to see the growth of the Milwaukee Bucks and the development of the new arena
"You're going to see a lot of growth downtown,” Johnson said. “Economic growth. And it's going to be amazing. It happened to Los Angeles when we built the Staples Center downtown. Downtown took off."

The event was open to the public. Johnson's wife Cookie, was also in town with him.
