The Milwaukee Bucks have signed free agent forward Terrence Jones for the rest of the season, according to ESPN’s Marc Stein and Justin Verrier.

Jones, 25, was waived by the New Orleans Pelicans following their trade for big man DeMarcus Cousins last month. Jones averaged 11.5 points and 5.9 rebounds in his lone season with the Pelicans. He averaged 10.4 points and 5.8 rebounds in his previous four seasons with Houston.

Jones joins an already crowded Milwaukee frontcourt rotation. The Bucks now have eight players on their roster listed at 6’8 or above, not including the injured Jabari Parker.

Jones will make the veteran’s minimum according to the reports. The Bucks are 26-33 and sit two games behind Detroit for the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.
