Fortnite has grown massively in popularity this past year. Gamers can stream their experience live through services like Twitch, where famous Fortnite player Tyler "Ninja" Blevins has gained nearly 7 million followers.

Ashland University in Ohio is even offering a scholarship to talented Fortnite players. It's part of the university's eSports program, which has teams for other games including League of Legends, Overwatch, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and Rocket League.

What does that mean for parents? Dr. Melissa Westendorf from the Technology Wellness Center joined The Morning Blend last month to talk about the latest video game obsession.
