Understanding schizophrenia in the Slenderman case

MILWAUKEE -- You may have recently watched the documentary "Beware The Slenderman." It profiles two Waukesha families who's daughters are charged in connection with stabbing a classmate in 2014 19 times in order to please a fictional character named Slenderman. They were all 12-years-old at the time. The victim survived.
 
Anissa Weier and Morgan Geyser have been charged in connection to this crime. It has been revealed in court, Geyser has been diagnosed with a form of schizophrenia. The documentary delves into this illness.
