You can buy flowers for Mom and support a local library at the same time. The Friends of the Oak Creek Public Library are holding their second annual plant sale this weekend.

Karie Jackson is among those shopping for plants outside the Oak Creek Public Library.

"For the most part they are 4" potted flowers. They run between $3-4 a plant, depending on what plant you get," she says.

There are also edible herbs like parsley, rosemary, cilantro, and basil.

If you want a more decorative piece, there are floral arrangements that are already potted. They run between $20 and $40. Nature's Nook donated all the flowers, so all of the money raised goes toward a good cause.

"All money raised will be used to support programming and special events, mainly for children here at the library," said Jill Lininger, Library Director.
