On land, selfie sticks often get a bad rap - they're banned from a lot of popular attractions, and have been the subject of many forms of parody.
Underwater, however, may we suggest they're totally awesome?
An employee at the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach, California made a selfie stick for the sea lions and gave one to a playful guy named Milo to record his surroundings as he swam around the exhibit.
