Wisconsin woman escapes van after accepting ride from stranger

MADISON, Wis. -- The Madison Police Department said a woman escaped with no injuries after she realized the man from whom she accepted a ride wasn't taking her home Sunday morning
 
WISC-TV reports the man asked the woman if she needed a ride near the intersection of East Washington Avenue and Blount Street. 
The a 33-year-old woman accepted and got into his black minivan.  
 
When she realized he was not driving in the direction of her home, she attempted to exit the van, police said.
 
The man grabbed her by the wrists, police said, but she was able to break free and flee the vehicle.
 
Police are still looking for the man described as a 5-foot-4 to 5-foot-6 Hispanic male with a thin build. He wore a white T-shirt and drove a black minivan with a tan leather interior, police said.
