West Allis SWAT standoff ends peacefully, suspect in custody

Man surrendered around 3:30 a.m. Sunday

WEST ALLIS - A SWAT standoff in West Allis ends peacefully around 3:30 a.m. Sunday.

West Allis police responded to what they referred to as a "trouble call" in the 2200 block of South 63rd Street around 9:55 p.m. Saturday night with a male subject.

Roughly five hours later, the man surrendered without incident.

West Allis police say no one was injured during the tactical situation.
