The Walworth County Sheriff said law enforcement has made contact with Arthur Johnsen of Elkhorn, who went missing last Friday.
The 56-year-old man is considered endangered and has not taken his required daily medications since Sept. 19.
The sheriff said he was seen in Richmond, Illinois last Friday morning walking south towards Richmond city limits. He mentioned he was headed to Kentucky, Tennessee or Texas, but he was vague on his intended destination.
He was last seen with some duffle bags and a red sleeping bag. He identified himself as Arc W. Adventis and gave his correct date of birth to law enforcement.
If anyone has information about his whereabouts they are asked to contact the Walworth County Sheriff's Office at 262-741-4400.
If located, the public is urged not to approach him or take any action other than to contact law enforcement.
