Shorewood HS alum Kate Baldwin earns second Tony nomination for 'Hello, Dolly!'

SHOREWOOD-- A Shorewood High School alum has been nominated for a Tony Award. Kate Baldwin, class of 1993, was nominated for Best Featured Actress in a Musical for her role as Irene Molloy in "Hello, Dolly!," according to the official Tony Awards website

During her time at Shorewood High School, Baldwin was incredibly active in the theater scene, not just at school, but in other local programs as well, according to the Shorewood School District blog.

After graduating from SHS, Baldwin left Wisconsin to attend Northwestern University. 

This isn't Baldwin's first Tony nomination. She was nominated for Best Actress in a Musical in 2009 for her role as Sharon McLonergan in Finian's Rainbow, according to her website.  

The Tony Awards will air on Sunday, June 11.
