New Berlin police arrest alleged stalker hiding in shrubs and bushes

The suspect also had an active arrest warrant

NEW BERLIN -- New Berlin Police arrested a disorderly subject after finding them hidden in a row of bushes and shrubs, allegedly stalking a New Berlin resident.
 
The victim made a 911 call late Tuesday night. When police approached the subject they gave a false identity and ran away from officers, according to New Berlin police.
 
Police deployed a Taser and took the subject into custody. The suspect also had an active arrest warrant.
 
A stolen vehicle from Chicago was also located near the scene with loaded handgun and heroin inside.
 
No one was hurt in this incident.
