Glendale Police say an alert sent out Thursday about a man trying to lure a young boy into his truck from the child's own driveway last week was a misunderstanding.
Police released a composite photo of a man who went up to an 8-year-old boy playing baseball in his driveway and tried to get him to come to his pickup truck.
The boy went into his house and asked his father if it would be OK and the man — who said he used to play Major League baseball — left the scene.
Glendale Police told TODAY’S TMJ4 that the man was new to the neighborhood and was meeting new people and giving kids baseballs.
