A man wanted by Milwaukee police turned himself in Wednesday afternoon.
Billy Cannon said he's wanted for allegedly abusing a child after a confrontation with a teen he said was trying to steal his car.
Cannon said this all started last week when a group of teens stole cars from his dealership Luxury Motors. He did some digging on Facebook and came across one of the alleged thieves.
Cannon said the boy messaged him saying he knew where to find the cars and to meet him without police.
Cannon recorded the confrontation on Facebook Live to publicly shaming the teen. The video was viewed more than 400,000 times.
"I had a conversation with him and told him I loved him, I didn't want to see him out here like this and I got a job for you when you ready," Cannon said.
After the conversation, Cannon was shocked to learn he was accused of child abuse.
"He thinks that this entire thing is a joke. As you can see it's not funny," said Cannon's attorney Daniel Storm.
Cannon says he never laid a finger on him and he's fighting to clear his name.
"I'm innocent. As time goes, you'll find out," Cannon said.
Surrounded by family, friends and his attorney, Cannon turned himself into police after learning he was wanted.
"I'm just frustrated, I'm tired. I worked so hard for what I got," he said.
And now Cannon is in trouble with the law. But he promises the truth will come out.
Cannon believes police are quick to judge him because of his criminal past. He admits he served his time and is trying to move on.
Police have arrested three teens for stealing cars from his dealership.
