MILWAUKEE -- There have been two armed robberies at the Valhalla Cemetery within the last two weeks.

Kenneth Johlke, one of the victims of the robberies, said he was attacked with a stun gun by two men.

"I was pretty scared. I didn't expect to come here and this is what happened to me," he said.

It happened while he was finding solace with his parents.

"I just think that this is the last place you'd want to get robbed or think about getting robbed will be in a cemetery," Johlke said.

And now Johlke said he's out of $170 and his car.

"I was yelling and screaming, and the guy came over and he said if you yell one more time I'm going to bust your mouth and hit you in the face…I hope I get the car back," he said.

Milwaukee police said this is the second armed robbery at the cemetery within the last few weeks.

In both incidents victims had their cars stolen.

Patrick Hinkle and his family heard about the robberies and said that's why they came to the cemetery together as a family.

"I don't know what's going on with people but they're crazy out here…You've got to really protect yourself,” Hinkle said.

He's at least looking forward to the cemetery providing security for families visiting loved ones. However, he would also like to see more of a police presence as well.

"I would like to see more police officers patrolling here for the safety of others," Hinkle said.

TODAY'S TMJ4 talked to management and they tell us that they will be adding security cameras and a security guard at the cemetery within the next week. Milwaukee police are still looking for suspects.
