Man robs store near Marquette campus early Sunday

MILWAUKEE -- Marquette University police are looking for a man who robbed a store near campus early Sunday.

The robbery happened at approximately 4 a.m. at a business near 16th and Wells.

Police said the suspect walked into the business and told an employee to lay on the ground. He then took some merchandise and left in a vehicle.

The suspect was described as a male in his late 20s to early 30s, bald, 200 to 210 pounds and 6'1" tall. He was wearing a black short-sleeve shirt with a white emblem on the front and a light emblem on the back with dark shorts.

He fled in a white two-door car with tinted windows.
