The Waukesha County Sheriff says it is investigating the death of an inmate in the Milwaukee County Jail, and they released his identity Friday.
In a news release, the sheriff identified the deceased inmate as 35-year-old Jose Torres from the Milwaukee area.
Torres was found dead on Oct. 27 around 3 p.m. The cause of death has not yet been reported.
After his death, the court dismissed Torres' charges.
