Apples came early this year in Wisconsin, thanks to the heat.

"I've never had a harvest where it's been this hot before," said Bob Barthel, Barthel Fruit Farm Owner.

Barthel is the fourth generation harvester at Barthel Fruit Farm in Mequon.  He said the warm temperatures made the apples ready sooner.

"The timing has changed this year.  We have beautiful crop the trees are loaded," Barthel said.

Pumpkins aren't ready yet, but the farm owner said the heat hasn't affected the crop at this point.
