DENMARK, Wis. -- One of the most memorable moments of a couple’s life could have been a catastrophe if the funnel forming in the sky touched the ground.
On Saturday afternoon, after Nathan & Anna Schneider’s ceremony, the wedding party was taking wedding photos when a friend noticed a funnel forming in the sky. The couple said they were not afraid because the funnel seemed to be at a significant distance away.
Anna Schneider said she thought the funnel was good luck. They lost their barn during a tornado in August 2013.
"A tornado turned out to be something terrible three years ago and it was really something quite amazing today,” said Anna Schneider.
Her husband agreed.
“Part of the best day of our lives today," he said.
Afterwards the couple attended their wedding reception.
