MILWAUKEE -- Two people were shot at a Checkers restaurant in Milwaukee early Sunday.
The shooting happened at approximately 1:50 a.m. at the 35th and Fond du Lac location.
Milwaukee police said a suspect became upset for an unknown reason and fired several gunshots into the restaurant.
A 23-year-old woman and a 28-year-old man were hit. They were both taken to the hospital and are expected to be OK.
There are no suspects in custody.
